How do I tell an AI agent who my company is?

On the homepage we check for a JSON-LD block typed Organization, LocalBusiness, Corporation or WebSite.

What it is

An Organization block is the site's identity statement: who you are, how to reach you, and which profiles elsewhere are yours. Its usual fields are `name`, `url`, `logo`, `description`, `contactPoint` and `sameAs`.

LocalBusiness is the same idea with a physical location, opening hours and a service area. Corporation and WebSite also satisfy this Check.

We judge this on the homepage only. Identity is declared once for a site, and repeating the Check per page would count one omission 50 times.

Why an agent needs it

An offer with no seller attached is hard to act on. An agent comparing suppliers needs to know the price and the legal entity behind it.

`sameAs` is the field that ties your site to the profiles an agent may already have seen. Without it, your site and your LinkedIn page are 2 unconnected sources.

The Fix

Publish one Organization block in the head of your homepage with `name`, `url` and `logo` at minimum, then `description` and `sameAs`.

Add a `contactPoint` with the email address or telephone number you actually answer. If you have a premises and opening hours, use LocalBusiness instead.

List only profiles you own in `sameAs`, as full absolute URLs.

A Deep Scan writes this one for you. It arrives in the Fix Pack, generated from the pages we crawled on your site.
